For three days, the CODE_n Social Media Team will give you an overview of the highlights of each festival day. Make sure you visit our blog to find out which sessions of our extensive conference program you shouldn’t miss, which renowned speakers you get to listen to and what workshop and side events are worth attending (although we’re sure all of them are 😉 )

The CODE_n main stage:

With an audience area of roughly 800 seats, the main stage provides room for inspiring insights. On the first festival day, this will be the spot where CODE_n initiator and GFT CEO as well as ZKM Chairman and CEO Prof. Dr. Weibel will welcome all new.New Festival visitors, startups and partners at 10am.

Afterwards, you might want to join the panel discussion on smart connected devices like NFC chip implants with Christopher Coenen, a political scientist and senior researcher at KIT-ITAS, blogger and programmer Enno Park, the Co-Founder of the Sweden-based biohacker network Bionyfiken Hannes Sjoblad, t3n editor in chief Stephan Dörner and multi-disciplinary artist Susanna Hertrich.

Also quite a highlight keynote (11.40am): Hyperloop CEO Dirk Ahlborn will let you know how he managed to crowdsource a massive project like the Hyperloop Transportation Technologies, a project on which a team of more than 480 experts around the globe are bringing disruptive innovation to the transportation industry.

We are rounding off the first festival day with an After Work event also happening on the main stage. Highlight of the evening will be a keynote speech by Winfried Kretschmann, Minister President of the state of Baden-Württemberg starting at 6:30 pm.

On the Innovation Stage…

…we delve deeper into the four CONTEST cluster topics: For example with Michael Lauk, Managing Director of Neuroloop, who is telling you everything from wearables to invisibles and smart implants and the merge of treatment and monitoring of chronic disease. What the future of mobility looks like, know our experts from HPE, Kinemic, thyssenkrupp Steel Europe, Daimler AG and Robert Bosch (2.20pm).

Personal Brand Strategist Jonathan Tilley (you might know him from TEDX) will let you know what creativity is trying to tell you at 4.40 – a little boost for you brain cells in the afternoon. Furthermore, our panelists from Changers.Com, Vodafone, Daimler AG and Startup Coach Dirk Lehmann talk about Digital Disruption and how corporates and startups can face the challenge together. Last but not least, we have Wirtschaftswoche, F.A.Z and t3n talk about how to tackle the fact that people are reading more and more, but the willingness to pay for content – especially if it’s digital – is lower than ever before (5 pm).

On the FinTech stage…

…our partner GFT discusses Devops, Agile and Lean, FinTech, InsurTech and RoboAdvisory as well as Big Data in the Insurance Industry. You shouldn’t miss the startup pitches in this cluster either!
On the Conencted Mobility stage it’s all about the digital journey, the digital city as well as digital business transformation. Afterwards, the stage is open for the startup pitches.
The HealthTech stage will be full with startup pitches, Innovation Kickboxing, the Brain Factory and a keynote on old vs. new media.

The Photonic stage…

…is all about cryptocraphy, IoT and condition monitoring, connecting, creating and controlling with Axoom as well as startup pitches.

Aside from the stages

Check out the Kubus at 3 pm, if you want to know what SME’s can learn from startups and make sure you check out the various workshops and side events we have for you today. Not to miss either: tonight’s pub crawl and Cyberforums’s party.party!
