A great last Day for a great Festival – These are the Highlights of Day 3!

Can you believe it’s already day three of our new.New Festival? We hardly can! Two exciting days filled with a great conference program and a lucky CODE_n16 winner lie behind us – but of course our last day has a lot to offer as well! We’ll tell you what today’s highlights are and what you definitely shouldn’t miss!

Yesterday was the big day! At the CODE_n Award Show we finally got to know which promising startup won our CODE_n CONTEST this year. Drum rolls for… Xarion! The Vienna-based company left 385 competitors from 40 countries behind and secured the grand prize of €30,000! With their business model, they left a great impression on our jury! Xarion sets new yardsticks within the sectors of ultrasound imaging, process monitoring and testing technology. Their ground-breaking laser microphone combines a lot of benefits: insensitive to wind and vibration and highly precise in extremely high frequency ranges.

CODE_n initiator Ulrich Dietz announced Xarion as the winner of CODE_n16!

What’s going on at the Main Stage?

Today, again, the Main Stage is THE place to be at the new.New Festival for great talks of renowned speakers! At 10 am the programme starts with a panel discussion about “Startups | Location Development | Ecosystems” – with our amazing last year CODE_n winner relayr!

Later at 11 am, Christoph Keese, Executive Vice President of Axel Springer SE gives us in his keynote a “Report from Silicon Valley”. Let’s see what he’ll unveil!

Another highlight keynote at 11.40 am: Armin Pohl, CEO of Mackevision Medien Design GmbH talks about “How digital pictures change our perception of reality”.

At the Innovation Stage, our Applied FinTech Finalists give their pitches today! Come to the stage and get to know more about their disruptive business models!

You can also learn something about Cybersecurity from Dr. August Hanning, former president of the Bundesnachrichtendienst, and discuss with Thought Leader Daniel Keller about his keynote “From the sovereign individual to the targeted individual: how the new economy has made us batshit crazy”.

In the evening, we’re getting ready for the grand finale of our CODE_n new.New Festival! At Karlsruhe Palace the wonderful band “Claire” plays for us at our CODE_n Closing Concert. Afterwards, we want to celebrate the ending of our Festival and three amazing days at the Schlosslichtspiele Karlsruhe – something you just CAN’T miss!
