For Startups Interested in the EU, Privacy Laws an Issue

PeHUB interviews Phil Lee, a Silicon Valley attorney, to understand European privacy laws and how they could affect startups that collect personal information about their users. Lee talks about the Data Protection Directive that applies to businesses that collect “personal data” and how the tightening of these EU laws could affect the collection, use and exchange of personal data. Lee lists countries that are business friendly on such regulatory issues and he goes into details about the cookie consent in different EU countries.
