(Junior) Manager Events & Campus Experience (Human)
About CODE_n: An innovation hub that shapes the future
CODE_n is an innovation campus in Stuttgart-Möhringen, founded out of GFT Technologies SE, driven by Ulrich Dietz and his entrepreneurial ambition. As part of the German de:hub network (de:hub future.industries), we connect startups, mid-sized companies, and corporates in one place - with office space, coworking, event venue, and community. Right next door: Messe Stuttgart, the airport, and the economic heart of the region. We're a young, lean team with big ambitions.
What it's about
A lot happens on the CODE_n Campus: startup pitches, corporate workshops, networking evenings, conferences, internal formats, partner events. Whether an event is remembered isn't decided by the invitation - it's decided in the hours on-site. The welcome, the rooms, the catering, the flow, the atmosphere, the feeling guests take with them.
We're looking for someone who takes that moment seriously. A hands-on personality who's eager to own events and grow with us. Whether you're just starting your career or already have a few years of event experience. What matters is that you want responsibility and have high standards. That's exactly who we're looking for.

Whether you're just starting your career or already have a few years of event experience. What matters is that you want responsibility and have high standards. That's exactly who we're looking for.
Your Mission
You shape how CODE_n feels as an event venue - from the first inquiry to the last guest leaving the campus. You plan, coordinate, and execute events, build reliable processes, and ensure that clients, partners, and guests leave the campus with one clear impression: this place takes things seriously.
Your Responsibilities
• Event planning and execution: You plan and deliver events of all sizes - from workshop groups of twelve to conferences with several hundred guests. You take ownership of briefing, concept development, scheduling, set-up, execution, and follow-up.
• Client and partner management: You are the main point of contact for event clients, corporates, startups, partners, and speakers. You understand what they need and translate it into a smooth and professional process.
• Coordination of all service areas: Event spaces, workshop rooms, technology, furniture, catering, and external service providers - you bring all the moving parts together and ensure seamless operations.
• Interface with gastronomy partners: You work closely with SW34 and other gastronomic partners on campus, coordinate catering and culinary support, and integrate them into the overall event experience.
• CODE_n-owned formats: You actively support community events, startup formats, partner events, and our own innovation formats - and help further develop them both organizationally and conceptually.
• Operational responsibility on-site: When guests arrive, you are there. You keep an overview, make decisions in real time, and ensure that both guests and the team have a great experience.
• Quality assurance: Briefings, checklists, schedules, and debriefings - you build structures that are scalable and reliable.
• Team collaboration: Sales, marketing, campus management, and leadership - you act as the central interface when it comes to events.

Your Profile
• Completed degree or vocational training - ideally related to event management, hospitality, tourism, business administration, communications, or a similar field. We care more about personality than the perfect résumé.
• Experience in events, hospitality, or an agency environment is a strong plus - but not a requirement. Even if you are just starting out and your experience comes from internships or working student positions, we would be happy to receive your application. What matters most is your motivation to shape events and take responsibility on-site.
• You work in a structured way, think in processes, and stay calm even when several things are happening at once.
• A hosting mindset comes naturally to you - friendly, present, and confident.
• Hands-on, solution-oriented, and committed to high-quality work.
• Very good German, good English, and confidence using common tools (Office, ideally with first exposure to event planning or CRM software).
• Willingness to occasionally work evenings or weekends when events require it.

Why This Role Is Special
Most event jobs are either agency work for constantly changing clients or internal event management within a large corporation. This role is neither. You will have a permanent location with its own character, a growing portfolio, and the opportunity to truly shape things - instead of getting lost in the complexity of a corporate structure or agency environment.
Contact
Does this sound like your next role? Then feel free to reach out directly - informal, straightforward, short, and personal. A résumé is enough; a few sentences about what excites you about CODE_n are very welcome.
